For users running EXR click-in crossbars, the EXR5181 is available in a click-in variant that allows the entire basket to be installed or removed using a push-pin style quick-release system—no tools required. This makes it easy to switch between gear setups or remove the basket entirely when not in use.

Even without EXR crossbars, the EXR5181 functions as a fully independent, universal carrier.
