The EXR5741 Click-In Rod & Paddle Holder is a modular, quick-release carrying solution designed to transport fishing rods, paddles, and similar long gear using EXR’s patented click-in crossbar system. It installs and removes in seconds using a push-pin interlock, making it ideal for users who want secure transport during adventures—and a clean, low-drag roof setup when gear is not in use.

The EXR5741 integrates seamlessly with EXR watercraft systems such as the EXR8891 Kayak / SUP Carriers and is also compatible with the EXR5181 Kayak Basket, offering flexible placement options depending on overall roof layout.

Click-In Convenience & Secure Transport

The EXR5741 clicks directly into EXR click-in crossbars using the same interlocking, push-pin system found across EXR’s accessory lineup. Once clicked in, the holder becomes extremely rigid under load, while still allowing tool-free removal when needed.

This makes the EXR5741 ideal for:

• Fishing rods
• Kayak paddles
• SUP paddles
• Mixed rod and paddle transport

Included Capacity & Expandability

Each EXR5741 includes four (4) rubber mounting cradles, allowing it to securely carry:

• Two (2) rods
• Two (2) paddles
• Or one (1) rod and one (1) paddle

For users who want to carry additional gear, the system is expandable using EXR5501 additional rubber mounts (sold separately). Each EXR5501 mount carries one (1) additional item.

For example:

• EXR5741 alone = up to 2 items
• EXR5741 + one EXR5501 = up to 3 items
• EXR5741 + two EXR5501 = up to 4 items

This allows users to configure the holder for four paddles, four rods, or any combination that fits their needs.

Integration with Other EXR Systems

The EXR5741 pairs exceptionally well with EXR8891 Kayak Carriers, providing a clean, efficient way to transport paddles or rods alongside kayaks without cluttering the cockpit or interior of the vehicle.

It can also be used in conjunction with the EXR5181 Kayak Basket. When two baskets are installed side-by-side, available roof space may be reduced, so placement should be planned accordingly.
