The Wanaka 72" isn't really a roof top tent, it's a camping setup. That means, this tent not only fits 4 people comfortably, but thanks to the XL annex it has space for two more people or dogs and other pets. Essentially, the tent becomes a huge camping setup to fit your outdoor needs perfectly.

This roof top tent has a sleeping footprint of 72" x 95", comfortably fitting 4 people, making it the ideal rooftop tent for the whole family.

The annex room of the Wanaka 72" is one of their best features. This is an XL annex, the largest in the market, with a footprint of 100" x 100", with YKK zippers, a 600D waterproof ripstop polyester oxford canvas with taped seams and PU coating, a removable floor, and 3 awning doors. 

The 3 large entrance doors are all covered by see-through-mesh, and an additional canvas cover that can become an awning. There is also an annex door that opens up inside of it towards your vehicle, so you can access your car from the annex. That door also has see-through-mesh.

Basically, the three entrance doors open up to become three awnings (poles are included), increasing the coverage area for your camping setup! You gain additional square feet of coverage from the sun or other elements to create a huge camping set up, where you can relax, children can play, pets can roam around and rest safely. Comfort whilst camping, that's a true overlanding roof top tent.

You can use the annex for additional storage, such as leaving bags or even a table and chairs. Or use it as a private changing room. It's tall enough for you to change whislt standing up. Thanks to the LED light strip the Wanaka 72" has, you can place it under the base to lighten up the annex room at any time of the day. The base is made of a thick diamond plate aluminum, completely black to increase insulation during colder months and reduce scratches, and to top it all up, a 3" thick high-density foam mattress for maximum comfort.

Add to that the fact that Guana Equipment made sure the rainfly has a silver coating on the inner side, and you know you are getting better insulation, keeping the tent warmer during winter and cooler during summer. Plus, it stops most of the light coming in, giving you a darker sleeping area.

Each Wanaka 72" tent comes with a plaque or plate on the side of the base, where you can find the batch and serial number, in case you had any questions about your specific tent.
