For added convenience, the system is fully compatible with EXR’s quick disconnect tent brackets (EXR1601 and EXR1602), allowing compatible tents to be installed or removed quickly using a simple push-pin mechanism.

EXR kayak carriers, kayak baskets, and other compatible accessories use the same push-pin attachment system, including EXR5181 and EXR8891. This quick-disconnect functionality allows fast reconfiguration while maintaining full roof and top usability.

Accessory-Ready Compatibility & Click-In Flexibility

All EXR7741 variants use standard-size crossbars compatible with the majority of aftermarket roof-mounted accessories, including kayak carriers, cargo baskets, roof boxes, bike mounts, recovery gear, and awnings.

Select variants feature EXR’s click-in crossbar profile, allowing compatible accessories such as kayak carriers, kayak baskets, rooftop tent adapter brackets, storage bin adapter brackets, rod holders, and paddle holders to be installed or removed quickly using a push-pin design—making it easy to reconfigure the rack without tools.
