Unlike generic straight U-bolts, EXR2641 hardware is shaped specifically for roof rack use—providing improved contact, reduced bar deformation, and a cleaner, more secure attachment across curved and aerodynamic crossbar profiles.

Three Crossbar-Specific Variants

The EXR2641 kit is offered in three variants. Select the version that matches your crossbar type:

• Aero / Aerodynamic Crossbars – contoured for wing-style and teardrop aluminum bars (most common)
• Oversized Crossbars – designed for tall or thick heavy-duty aftermarket bars (common on truck beds)

EXR4951 straps are made from high-grade, mildew-resistant polyester with minimal stretch and a soft, non-abrasive feel—designed specifically for roof-mounted gear. Paired with high-strength black cam buckles, these straps are trusted for securing kayaks, baskets, tents, and cargo in demanding real-world conditions.

The included straps are suitable for roof rack and recreational cargo use and eliminate the need to source separate tie-downs for many applications.
