The EXR4003 Roof Rack Crossbar Package is a No-Drilling, lightweight-duty crossbar rack system designed specifically for Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU vehicles equipped with a factory hard top (2007–2018). Purpose-Built for Utility & Modularity

The EXR4003 is engineered as a two-crossbar system intended for general cargo and recreational use rather than rooftop tent support when installed on a factory hard top. In its standard configuration, the system does not include EXR’s weight distribution support feet and is not rated for rooftop tent installation on hard top configurations.

Without the support feet installed, load distribution is similar to traditional aftermarket crossbars, making the EXR4003 well suited for bikes, storage bins, cargo boxes, awnings, and up to two kayaks depending on carrier selection.

Expandable Load Capacity with Optional Support Feet

For users who need additional load support, the EXR4003 can be upgraded by adding EXR’s weight distribution support feet (sold separately as part EXR3351). When installed, these feet increase overall load stability and improve weight distribution across the roof structure.

With the optional support feet installed, the EXR4003 is capable of supporting heavier kayak setups, including up to three large kayaks, depending on carrier configuration and vehicle roof limits.

Accessory-Ready Compatibility

All EXR4003 variants use standard-size crossbars compatible with the majority of aftermarket roof-mounted accessories, including kayak carriers, cargo baskets, roof boxes, bike mounts, and utility attachments from leading manufacturers.

Select variants also feature EXR’s click-in crossbar profile, allowing integration with EXR click-in accessories while retaining compatibility with traditional clamp-style mounts.
